Fine and sunny ... no chance of rain ...

I had no intention of writing a post about the weather today.

But sometimes things just deserve a mention.

Here in Australia we are in the middle of winter ... the season of overcoats, woolly jumpers and mittens ... right??

Today we have a forecast top of 22 - 23 degrees ... that's around 73 degrees Fahrenheit.

If that's winter I'll take it.

It's the kind of day that calls to you in a seducing voice ... stop doing that housework ... come outside and spend awhile.

And who am I to refuse the call of nature??

The sun is shining ... the sky is blue ... with not a cloud to be seen.

It's a fantastic day for a picnic ... I'll bring the lemonade.

That gorgeous sunshine even tricked the lizards into emerging from their cosy winter hidey holes.  Which in turn brought out Buster's homicidal tendencies ... usually reserved for the summer months.  RIP sun seeking skink.

The pansies are pretty.

The passionfruit is ripening.

Even the weeds look good.

I'm going to find a comfy seat in the sun and lap it up ... while it lasts.

    1. If they had any sense they'd move next door ... only skinks with suicidal tendencies should live at our place :0)
