"A portrait of our children, once a week, every week in 2013"

Master 16:  The Ashes are on … so the backyard cricket … though in this case it's the front yard … begins.

Master 13:  Likes to take the necessary safety precautions.

You called out "game on" … and used the street as the wicket
It was Week Forty Seven  … and time for some cricket.

Joining in with Jodi at Che and Fidel.

    1. Thanks Steph … yep ... you know it's summer when the flies start buzzing and Richie Benaud's voice becomes background noise in the living room.

    1. It's great fun … until they start taking it too seriously … then it usually ends in a rumble.

  8. Yes we too have had our quota of back yard cricket over the years, the lads even made a trophy. Apparently it was competed for last weekend at my eldest sons flat. Youngest son is pretty good at the old crickie actually, but now he is working, discovered girls and booze it has taken a back seat. Your lads are lovely and very accommodating with photo sessions for mummy.

    1. The photo sessions always work best when I catch them unawares … you've got to see your chance and take it ASAP.
