Master 16:  Well how about that ... my boy became a man.

Master 13:  The changes are more subtle … but you matured in many ways this year.

Now look at that … it didn't take long,

To find the whole darn year had gone.

The weeks went by ... they really flew,

Can you believe … Week Fifty Two.

To mark the end of taking part,

I took my boys back to the start.

Hip hip hooray … we made it through,

And look how much those two boys grew!

Master 16:  His phone is permanently attached to his hand … even at a family Christmas party he can't seem to put it down.  Hello!??!  I know it's called social media … but guess what … this is called ACTUAL socialising … how about you give it a try? 

Master 13:  He scored a bonus gift … one the real recipient didn't want … and he's loving it sick.

And so now this project is almost all done,

By crikey … by jingo … it's Week Fifty One!!

Master 16:  Tread carefully … he went to another party last night … and he's functioning (just) on less than four hours sleep.

Master 13:  He had a solid eight hours … but is still planning a lazy Sunday.

Cannot believe that the year's gone so swiftly,

Look at the title … it's week number Fifty.

Master 13:  Sitting amidst a gigantic mess in his bedroom.

Master 16:  Even at 16 years of age … he still can't bear to watch the spider scene in "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets".

Master 13:  Takes it all in his stride … now if it had been a wasp … it might have been a completely different story.

One was chilled out … the other increased his heart rate,

While we watched a "kid's" movie … in Week Forty Eight.

Master 16:  The Ashes are on … so the backyard cricket … though in this case it's the front yard … begins.

Master 13:  Likes to take the necessary safety precautions.

It was Week Forty Seven  … and time for some cricket.

Master 16:  And so it is done.

Master 13:  Requested a picture …  to be used as his Facebook profile picture … this one passed muster.  I'm still amazed by the "requested a picture" part.

One got a piercing … one asked for a pic,

Things were surprising … in Week Forty Six!

Master 16:  Cutting a fine figure … all dressed up and somewhere to go … ready for your Year 10 School Formal.

Master 13:  Hot and bothered and unimpressed.

We had hot days … and big nights out … from this I can derive,

That the end of year is coming soon … it's now Week Forty Five.

So we got a new sofa ... and then we sat on our bums,

Master 16:  Bright afternoon sunshine.

Master 13:  Dappled afternoon sunshine.

Just look out the window ... perhaps towards heaven,

Master 16:  It's been a week of driving lessons and attitude ... I needed a lot of patience for both.

Master 13:  It's been a week of lessons in love and communication ... it appears you can have one without the other ... but not for very long.

A big week for lessons ... for you and for me,

We ALL learnt a lot ... in Week Thirty Three.
