A picture's worth 1000 words … week 12 ...

A photo a day … every day … in 2014.

Day 75:  I think that's what you call a menacing storm cloud.

Day 76:  Number Two Son.

Day 77:  Number Two Son admires his looong shadow.

Day 78:  Why is it that no matter how spectacular the moon looks … as soon as you take it's photo … it turns into a big white blob?

Day 79:  Lava Lamp … GROOVY!

Day 80:  Can I iron this basket of laundry?  Of course I can!  *sob*

Day 81:  In the garden.

  1. I love the colours in the menacing storm cloud photo and although I know how moon shots are always a disappointment, the colours you captured in the sky look great in that one too.

  2. I agree about the moon. It plays tricks I think. Laundry, of course you can do it, but the question really is do you want to do it. Teach the boys how to operate the laundry tools so you can sit back and put your feet up!!! Slaves I think you call them.

  5. Loving those clouds and wishing my ironing pile was that small - the downside to being a vintage seller! x

  10. You're a braver woman than I, I iron as I go. I am so bad at ironing. My hubby told me he reckoned he could do better, guess who irons his work shirts, not me.

I think you need to have some amazingly expensive lense for an amazingly expensive camera to do justice to the moon. Still a gorgeous shot. Jo ××

    1. Big mistake by Hubby … whenever someone says they can do better they're just asking to be left the job for ever and ever ;0)

  11. Do you really have that framed poster in your laundry room? That's brilliant. And that elusive moon. I think I saw that exact same moon and it was impressive!

    1. I actually have it in the family room … the only way I can possibly survive the ironing is to watch tv at the same time. It's nice the way we all share the same moon … wherever we are :0)

  12. That first shot is the ultimate in cloud watching. I love watching storms roll on through the hold such power, passion and colour. Great shot x
