Love is in the air ...

Master 13 has an admirer.

We have suspected this for some weeks now.

Something to do with the starry eyed girl's BFF seeking him out in the school yard to inform him that her friend "likes" him ... kind of gave it away.

Over the weekend, things escalated a little.  The starry eyed girl took it up a notch by sending Master 13 a message via Facebook complimenting him on his profile picture.

"I love your profile picture"

Never was a more direct declaration of love made.

Master 13 in his usual clueless manner employed the help of Master 16 ... Cyrano de Bergerac style ... to craft a reply.

After much deliberation ... this was sent ...

"Thanks, I like yours too (smiley face)"

He couldn't have made his interest clearer had he hired a skywriter ... apparently.

Starry eyed girl certainly took it as an expression of serious intent ... and decided to take these matters of the heart into her own hands.

Well not quite her OWN hands.

Yesterday ... at recess Master 13 was met with a request from starry eyed girl's BFF ... would he like to "go out" with her friend? You know be her "boyfriend"?   She'd be back at lunch time for the answer.

Master 13 found this turn of events quite worrisome.  He decided it called for the highly unusual action of leaving the security of "his bit of the playground" to seek out Master 16 ... in "his bit of the playground" for some big brotherly advice and guidance.

The matter was then raised amongst Master 16's friends ... due to their mature and worldly wisdom.  The final advice was taken from Master 16's best mate ... due to the fact that he is the only one to currently have a girlfriend and must therefore be the most educated and experienced in such matters.

"Do you like her?" he asked.

"Sort of,"  Master 13 replied.

"Then just go for it!"

Master 13 took this sage wisdom on board and when starry eyed girl's BFF made her approach at lunch time he was ready.

"So, do you want to go out with my friend?"

"Oh ... OK ... fine then!"

And that was that!

With such an auspicious beginning I have my doubts that it will be a long term relationship ... and by long term I mean a week!

Here's the pic that started it all ... irresistible isn't he
