I feel like a very grown up blogger indeed!
The gorgeous and incredibly generous Rebecca of Pomegranate and Seeds invited me to write a post for her "school ready" series.
So of course I immediately jumped at the chance.
As this is my first guest post ever ... and let's face it ... quite probably my last ... I'd LOVE you to CLICK OVER ... and check it out.
While you are there you'll fall in love with Rebecca's blog .... she's one of those clever folk who have the uncanny knack for taking normal words and turning them into something quite, quite beautiful.
You ARE a well-behaved guest! Loved the post. My sister and I are a year apart and everyone thought we were twins, too. Even though we don't look that much alike but, yeeeeees, my mother dressed us alike. This was further complicated by the fact that we also have twin brothers....also dressed alike. AUGH! Such a great interview. I'd have to say that my red-headed teenager is more like your Master 13. Classic second child!!
ReplyDeleteLOL ... you just don't see enough matching outfits these days :0)

Give away winnings, blog birthdays and now guest postings!!! Are you getting famous? :-) xxx
ReplyDeleteHA ... infamous is more likely ;0)

you did a great guest post - your boys are witty and intelligent - I dressed mine the same too, even down to the socks, why? I don't have the foggiest, they complained as soon as they could x
ReplyDeleteThey were probably complaining right from the start ... but you just thought it was cute baby talk. I like to think we were getting back at them for all the grief there were going to give us in the future ;0)

I read your guest blog, it was great. You really have a talent for expressing things that make them funny/witty/interesting...
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Carla ... that comment has totally made my day :0)

My second child (also a boy) is very similar to your Master 13 and Connie's teen, so maybe it really is that second child thing going on! I'm convinced family position counts for a lot in their personality development.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, just wanted to say well done on an excellent guest post - I commented over there too, wasn't sure whether we were supposed to comment here or there so I did both! xxxx
Haha ... thank you ... you're welcome to comment anywhere you like ... as often as you like :0)
DeletePS I think you're right ...it's definitely a second child/middle child thing.
xx
gawd where have I been...under a rock....im off to check out your guest appearance....one night only???...is there a cover charge? x
ReplyDeleteI'll tell the bouncer you're with the band ;0)
