Busy … busy … busy ...

Hubby and I have an understanding in our relationship.

I think it has been working out quite well.

I come up with the ideas … the plans … the impossible dreams … and he does his best to turn them into reality.

Way back in March I decided that we really needed to redo our front garden.  I drew up a plan … and presented it to Hubby for consideration.

He mulled it over … for nine months … cause you really don't want to rush these things … and decided that this was the week he would make it a reality.

So ever since Sunday … we have been very, very busy bees.

I decided I would bore excite you with our progress so far.

In the beginning ...

End of Day One …

End of Day Two ...

End of Day Three ...

In all the excitement I broke the cardinal rule of life in Australia.

When applying sunscreen … do not forget the back of your knees.

  1. Ooh, busy busy - it will be worth all the hard work, I'm sure.
Sunburn, ugh, hate it - I am so fair skinned and freckley, I rarely tan and go pink horribly quickly, so I think I would struggle in Australia! xxx

  2. Great to have a hubby who can do these things - so much cheaper than 'getting a man in', even if it does take a while! Looks like it is going to be great x

    1. It's feeling much better now … if it's not the back of the knees … it's the top of the feet … both places are ouchy and often forgotten.

  5. It takes a man 9 months to activate a plan because by the end of 9 months he thinks it is his idea!! Garden looking good, cannot wait for the big reveal. You devil breaking a cardinal rule, you know you will suffer!!!

  6. Well. Aren't you lucky! It's the other way around at my house. Except for the burnt knee backs part. I'm the resident burner and freckler. Stay cool.
