News Update ...

It's official … I'm a slack blogger!

But let me take this opportunity to play a little bit of catch up.

Hubby left for New York … WITHOUT ME … spent three weeks there …WITHOUT ME ... and then came back … surprisingly without me.

He's been complaining and moaning about tiredness and jet lag ever since ... but I think he needs to suck it up … because he spent three weeks in New York … WITHOUT ME!!

Buster got hairier and hairier …

Until I finally took him to a groomer and got it all cut off … well except for that bit on his right ear.

Master 17 had his yearly exams … which he didn't stress about at all … which as usual stressed me greatly!  We await the results with baited breath!

In other Master 17 news … something wonderful happened … something amazing … something that made me the proudest mother of all time!

He was offered the position of 2015 School Captain!!!

Which he enthusiastically accepted … of course.

Where he gets his motivation, drive and initiative is a mystery  … because it's basically the opposite of me … but I'm incredibly grateful and proud.

His co-captain is one of his best friends … which just makes the whole story even more perfect.

Yep … we are a very happy family indeed.

  1. Congrats to Master 17 on becoming next year's Capt. Is that a possum on the badge?
