A picture's worth 1000 words … week 7 ...

A photo a day … every day … in 2014.


Day 40:  The Sydney Opera House in all her glory.


Day 41:  Master 13 … home from school … and feeling poorly.


Day 42:  Wow … I actually turned on the sewing machine … and I actually sewed something too!


Day 43:  BEWARE … Guard Dog on Duty … Enter at Your Own Risk


Day 44:  I treated myself to a professional pedicure … that's big news in these parts.


Day 45:  Happy Valentines Day to me.


Day 46:  Rain … Hallelujah it's RAINING!

    What a great idea to capture the everyday life - to take a photo every day. Hope your boy is feeling better soon. Love the valentines roses. I completely forgot to get hubby anything (have been reminded several times a day since!) but am chompsing my way through my gift - box of Thorntons special toffee. This stuff is definitely not designed for down under as it came melted together in a toffee brick. Am slowly chiselling away at the edges (talk about a labour of love!). Hope you have a good week... x Lou x

    Great view of the sewing machine. I felt like I was the fabric! What did you make? And freckley toes. So glad I'm not the only one. Hope 13 feels better. Happy VD to you!

      It's a work in progress … and has been for a very long time … cause I don't turn on the wretched machine often enough. Someday … maybe … all will be revealed ;0)

    Beautiful roses, and beautiful freckled feet! mine need attention with a professional sander, I know, vile! I hope Master 13 is feeling better, poor thing and you got rain! am chuffed! what did you sew? x x x

      Mine needed sanding too … that's why I called in the professionals. I needed commercial grade steel wool ;0)

    Oh I do love that photo of the magnificent Sydney Opera House. But then I love all your photos. Hope your boy is feeling better, that the rain is a welcome relief, that the fierce guard dog keeps all the riff-raf away, and that the sewing was successful! xxxx

    I'm a bit like that with my sewing machine I'm afraid. Great photo of your son in bed, pity he was not feeling the best and I love a good pedicure twice a year as well. Regards Kathy A, Brisbane, Australia

      Pedicures are the best … this was only the second one I've ever had … but I aim to improve on that figure in the future :0)

      I got flowers!!!!!! I know … I was shocked too!!!
      When Hubby and I first met he would give me a rose for every year we had been together … he gave up somewhere around year 6 … got too expensive!! So you can imagine my surprise!!!!!!
