A picture's worth 1000 words … week 49 ...

A photo a day … every day … in 2014.


Day 334:  The hydrangea is trying so hard to flower … but every time it gets a go on … back comes the heat.



Day 335:  It's the 1st of December … and the Christmas tree is up.



Day 336:  What could possibly be better than pom poms?  Why pom poms and fairy lights of course!



Day 337:  Motherhood involves a lot of driving and a lot of waiting … but some days the view is better than others.



Day 338:  Can you guess where I went today?



Day 339:  Down the hallway.



Day 340:  Snowflake in summer.

    You can take a nothing day and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile. Have you ever seen "The Mary Tyler Moore Show"? Did they show that in Australia? Pom poms and Fairy lights!!!!!!! XXXXOOOO

    Did you go to Ikea? I see meatballs (are they?) I think of Ikea, Dave always has them! your tree is beautiful, and of course the fairy lights and pom-poms, like happiness squared! your views are much lovlier than ours (yes, parenting involves a LOT of waiting!) x x x

    I'm with the others on Pom Poms and fairy lights, fabulous combination. I've never had Ikea's meatballs but heard tell of them, nice to see a photo of what I'm missing, generous portions. xx

    Your home is so pretty and the tree and the fairly lights with pom-poms are just WOW! I love hydrangeas and they make such pretty dried flowers too. They look great on a Christmas tree and I always intended to do that only now I don't have a tree.

    A pretty little snowflake..a pretty photo too Love the christmas tree I only put up a small one as the kids uh young adults are only home for a short time
