All warm and sunny days and cool evenings … just the way I like it … and the weather people on the telly delight in telling us that it's been one of the warmest May's on record.
Today was 27 degrees!! 27 degrees people! Nine days out from Winter.
Not only was it a picture perfect day … but this evening provided an outstandingly picture perfect sunset … so of course I took a few pictures … as you do ... okay a few more than a few… as you do.
I hope you enjoy it … I certainly did.
Just...wow.

Glorious! 27 degrees, the people here would be moaning it was too hot if that happened in mid-summer here (not me, though!) x
ReplyDelete27 degrees is about the perfect temperature to me … 37 is pushing it a bit far ;0)

That is certainly a most stunning sunset and one to make your heart sing. The beauty in this world is there for all if we open our eyes and look.
ReplyDeleteSometimes you just have to pause for a moment and appreciate your surroundings.

Not here in NS Canada. May has been a naughty month, filled with cooler days and unexpected rain showers.
ReplyDeleteOh dear … I hope June behaves a little better ;0)

Wow! That is a really stunning sunset. May has not been quite as well behaved here and we are supposed to be heading into summer! We have had some days of low twenties and others high teens, usually overcast or mixed sun and cloud. It could certainly be worse but 27! Holy Hot Dogs, Batman!
ReplyDeleteI KNOW!!! ;0)

Oh wow Jo, those are stunning, such colours!!!
ReplyDeleteThe yellow was particularly amazing … it's not often you see a yellow sky.

It is always so difficult to find beautiful sky scenes to photograph without having power lines in the shot. You seem to only have television antennas to contend with. Congratulations! Lovely pictures!
