Inside my sketchbook … issue 7 ...

My last issue of "Inside my sketchbook" was simply ages ago … in fact the whole month of March managed to escape me.

I must do better.

Back in the last issue I unveiled my Blogger Portraits … which thankfully were well received by their subjects.

But there was a comment left on that post that can no longer be ignored … you see it issued me with a DARE.

And I for one am unable to resist a dare.

Well as long as there is no criminal activity involved.   Or physical danger to myself.  And as long as it doesn't involve public nudity.  And there can't be any heights of any kind … I don't do heights.

Come to think of it … I am the least daring person I know.  The most daring thing I've done lately is to go out on a cloudy day without an umbrella … and ask for extra chicken salt on my hot chips.

I'm really living life on the edge.

But in regards to this dare … I thought I may be able to meet the challenge … given that I can do it from the safety of my armchair.

So I did.

Just pencil this time … I tidied my paints away because I had someone coming over … and I've been too bone idle to get them back out.

Sorry Sue … if you don't like it then I'm afraid you really only have yourself to blame … hahahahahaha!!

    1. Thank you … that means a lot coming from someone that knows her in "real" life … you can never be sure if you've captured the likeness.

  8. What a gorgeous portrait! You're very talented (obviously). I love the other blogger portraits you did as well. If I were available to pose I'd dare you as I'd imagine anyone in their right mind would. Brilliant artwork!
